Today’s Special Promo
This clip represents the very earliest memories that I have. It is intangible and I have never come across somebody else who knows Today’s Special. It is a Canadian show, so it is weird as shit. When I found it on Youtube.com, it blew my mind. I had not seen a single frame from this TV show in 20 years or more. The visuals triggered some very strange, genesis memories. They aren’t even formed memories. It is hard to explain, but it was a trigger of something long forgot, and as soon as these feelings and remembrances came to my mind, they were gone. The most striking visual in this clip was the cartoon mother goose flying by with a rainbow contrail being ejected by the goose. It is very possible that this intensely scared me as a child. I know I loved this show, but I also know it struck me as very foreign and surreal. This show has the same aesthetic feel as many weird dreams I’ve had. There is a very strong connection in my early developing mind to this show.
